Well, this certainly is awkward. I knew I shouldn't have let him see it. Kade looked at Bishop, trying to preform a smirk. A smirk that showed he'd really didn't mean to draw it, not to worry. But he did mean to draw it, he was only lying to himself. Taking back the notebook, he held it angled away from Bishop, in case he tried to get another look. When Bishop announced that he was leaving, Kade was in shock, was it the drawing? Great, now Bishop will eave, and know Kade drew pictures of him, just perfect!
Watching Bishop gather his stuff and leave, Kade felt sad, honestly he did. When Bishop stopped, and said it would be better to walk back together, Kade took it as a meaning of safety. But by the looks of him, he could take care of himself very well. Swinging his backpack over his shoulder, he quickly walked forward, walking in sync with Bishop. "It'd be better? How so? Bishop wasn't sure why he had told Kade to come with him. A temporary lapse in judgment he supposed. He knew that he would have to formulate an answer sooner or later, but he just continued to walk in step with Kade for a while. It was easy not to talk. Bishop could even stand the sounds of nature as long as Kade would stop asking questions. Then it happened, again. Just for a moment, but in mid-stride Bishop accidently brushed Kade's hand with his own, causing yet another involuntary gasp. Shit Bishop screamed so loud in his mind that he was afraid Kade would here his thoughts. What was wrong with him? It was like Kade was made of electricity and every time they touched Bishop lost the ability to properly inhale. There was no way that Kade hadn't noticed this time. Which would indefinitely mean more questions. Bishop shot his glance to the ground in hopes of a misunderstanding. Maybe he could get off by saying he had a chill, but that was unlikely.

Why did Bishop say it was better if they walked together? Both could clearly take care of themselves, everyone here could. Kade kept stealing glances out of the corner of his eyes whenever he felt it was safe. When Bishop's hand brushed his, he felt Bishop react. Was the move on purpose, or accident. Surely, Bishop, didn't mean to do it, after all, he did flinch? Slowing down his pace, Kade paused for a moment. "Uh . . are you alright?" Sure, it was awkward stopping in the middle of a dark forest, and he didn't even know if Bishop would stop or keep walking. He did seem reserved enough to "ignore" Kade and keep walking, but Kade didn't believe Bishop would do that.

Bishop was so caught up in trying to be normal that he hadn't even noticed Kade stop. He took a few steps before hearing Kade call to him. Was he okay? Hell no. He had no idea what was happening. This did not happen to Bishop North. He was constantly in charge of his feelings and emotions. Being the son of the Goddess of Vengeance gave him the gift to always remain calm and level headed, but Kade had changed that in him. His thoughts became cloudy and he didn't know what to say or do. He was freaking out over the slightest touch, and he had no idea why. So, the truthful answer to Kade's question was, "of course not," but still having some sense in his mind he made sure to avoid more awkwardness. He wasn't going to tell Kade that for some reason when he was around him he couldn't think straight. Yeah, I'm fine. Bishop mumbled quickly. His words coming out almost too fast to hear. Bishop took a few strides back over to Kade, closing the small gap in between them. He knew that the lie was showing on his face, so he kept his face down, staring at his shoes. He was close enough to hear Kade's steady breathing. Come on let's go.

Kade stared out at Bishop, he could tell his question had effected him in ways Bishop would not admit to. Kade felt bad for him, he knew Bishop put up a tough front, but Kade knew there was more to him then that. He wasn't just the "Tough guy", well, that didn't matter. When he answered, he could hear the lie in his voice. His mother was the goddess of wisdom, Kade was not dumb. As Bishop moved closer to Kade, he was confused, why was he moving towards him? Kade was going to walk over to him to continue walking back to camp. Something swelled up within him, he didn't know why. Everything was confusing him, he never felt this way before. When Bishop stopped in front of Kade, his breathing increased, what was happening? Calm...down, just calm down. His eyes stared at Bishop thoughts raced in his mind, he knew Bishop was bi, he dated Eli, so he knew he wouldn't be weirded out. Just do it. No, he couldn't, could he? Kade began to move slowly toward Bishop. Now or never He was inches from Bishop now. If it goes bad, it could stay in the woods, nobody would know, hopefully. Kade moved his head in closer to Bishop, placing his lips softly onto Bishops mouth.

Bishop was frozen. Literally, he could not move. All he could do was stand there while this boy met Bishop's lips with his own. Bishop's eyes closed as time stopped. There was no sound but the noise of Kade inhaling through his nose. All of Bishop's senses had failed him, the only one that still worked was his sense of touch in his lips. After a couple seconds of this Bishop regained the ability to move and slowly took one step backwards. Wh-what are you doing? Apparently the ability to speak had regained inside him. Not that Bishop didn't like the kiss. He just wasn't sure where it came from. The last person Bishop had dated was Eli, and that was almost two and a half years ago, and ended up in Bisho hating Eli more then almost everyone of Aphrodite's little skank children. The only time people liked Bishop was when they were just as mean or meaner then he was, and Kade was neither of those. Far from it in fact, in Bishop's eyes, Kade had been one the most genuine people at this camp. A little quirky, but Bishop never had to second guess anything Kade ever said.

Kade was in heaven, it felt so natural, so real. The sad part was it was his first kiss, ever. When Bishop stepped back, Kade was disappointed "Uh... Kade had no reply to his question. He couldn't explain why he kissed him, he just felt compelled to. He could felt his face grow hot, he knew he was blushing. He just want to leave, he had just made a fool in front of someone. Normally Kade wouldn't care, but something snapped in himself, he did a not so Kade mood, so nothing held him back now.

Bishop stared at Kade, studying his face. Kade was extremely handsome. Of course, Bishop had realized this before, but never really saw Kade. While waiting for a reply other than "uh," Bishop became impatient. He no longer cared why, or how that had just happened, but it felt right, and Bishop craved more. He ran his hand through Kade's hair and pulled him gently back into him. Carefully meeting his lips. Parting only for a moment to breathe in this moment. The world around them could be crumbling, but for one moment, Bishop felt safe. He couldn't hear his dead brother's agonizing voice speaking to him from Hades. Everything was silent aside from the organic sounds being made by the two boys, and for Bishop, that was perfect.

Kade felt embarrassed, he just kissed Bishop, and he couldn't even give an answer as to why. But then, when Bishop pulled Kade back into for another kiss, it was simply bliss. Everything seemed to fade, the only thing that mattered was him and Bishop. His moved his arm to wrap around Bishop, and pulled him closer. He felt their bodies press against each other. Kade had never felt this way before, maybe because it was the lack of oxygen, and maybe it was just the way Bishop made Kade feel. --Sorry it was so short D: I'm on the phone.

Bishop took a moment to take it all in before realizing what was happening. He had let his guard down, and that was never safe. He had allowed himself to be ruled by desire rather than reason. Everything that was currently was not the kind of person was, or at least not the kind of person he had been in ten years. He couldn't allow his heart to be broken again. He pulled Kade in one last time soaking this moment with every molecule in his body before taking a slow step back. I have to go It didn't even sound right to Bishop. It was like he was convincing himself to go, but he knew that this would be better for the both of them. Kade didn't need to get wrapped up in all of Bishop's bullshit and Bishop could not allow his guard enough to ever let Kade in. This would never work, but he could already the cracks inside of himself beginning to resurface. He turned around quickly before Kade would see the hurt on his face. Bishop didn't want to go, but he had to. He just had to keep reminding himself that this had to be the wise decision. It had to be. He briskly began to walk back to camp again. This time without Kade by his side. He could feel the cracks widening.

Kade had never felt anything that could be close enough then this moment. The feeling, he couldn't describe, it was wonderful. Everything felt like a dream, it was too perfect for reality. And nothing this good ever lasted, take now for example. As Bishop pulled away, a smile was visible on Kade's face, probably because he was not figuring out what was happening. The words were not processing, not until Bishop began to walk away. No. No, that shouldn't be happening. He pulled Kade in for the second kiss, right? "Wait . ." his words didn't even sound like him, it was not him, at all. Kade moved forward, he needed to stop Bishop. Bishop couldn't leave, not after what just happened. Shouldn't they talk about this? It's not something you could ignore, not easily.
His legs pulled him up to Bishop. "Wait, dude, wait!" Shouldn't Kade just let him go? It would be easier. Just let this all be a memory, but Kade didn't want this to be a memory, that was the problem.

Bishop squeezed his eyes shut when he first heard Kade calling after him. Better for both of us, he reminded himself. He waited for Kade to stop calling after him, they always did. It was easy to just forget that it ever happened. While Bishop hadn't had a relationship in 2 and a half years, he was notorious for having flings. Feelings were never in voled. It just allowed him to see why he disliked people so much, but this was different. Bishop did have feelings for Kade, and they were strong, very strong, but he reminded himself of all the times his heart had been broken. Growing up without either parents, his brother dying, the whole situation with Eli. Things were never in Bishop's favor, and this time wouldn't be any different. Then he felt Kade beside him again. He was breaking down on the inside, but he knew that on the outside he had to be a marble statue. He could let not emotion show or he wouldn't be able to hold himself together. I can't do this Kade... We can't do this.

Kade finally got Bishop to stop. And with each word, it felt like a slap to the face, each just as painful. "Yes you can, and yes WE can. You can't say we don't feel the same for each other. Don't lie either, I'm not dumb." Kade said everything so fast, all his emotions were spilling out into that one reply. This was the most he has talked to anyone and for sure the most he has ever done with anyone. There was something different about Bishop, well clearly there was.

It was almost impossible for Bishop to believe people, but something in Kade's voice made Bishop want to swallow every word he said as truth. Thus, the breaking down began. The thought invaded his mind. Maybe they could do this. Maybe, this time would be different. These thoughts were a luxury and Bishop thoroughly enjoyed holding them inside of his head. Holding grudges against the evils of human beings was apart of his genetic makeup, but maybe this time he could look over it. Even if for a couple of days. So, Bishop allowed it to happen. Bishop wrapped his arms back around Kade without saying a word. He rested he head in the crook of his neck and let himself believe that maybe, this could last.

Kade stood there speechless, he had poured everything he felt towards this boy into one sentence. One sentence was all he needed. He knew Bishop felt the same way towards him, so it wasn't hard to get him to see that. Kade rested his head upon Bishops, he felt as if they were alone in this world, and joy filled every fiber in his body. He couldn't remember when he was this happy. Nothing compared to this moment. If only he could click pause, everything was so perfect. But perfect never lasted. Nothing, especially in the world of Olympian Gods lasted. It grew old after a while, but Kade didn't want this to stop.
