Dream wasnt able to sleep, she was just laying in bed, listening to her half-siblings snore. Drem groaned and stood up, grabbing her coat. She put her coat on over her tank top and left her cabin quickly.
Once out in the air Dream felt way better. She took a deep breath of the chilly air and sat down on a nearby bench. Dream noticed a few people wandering around but she didnt really feel like talking to anyone right now.
She looked up at the sky. There were no clouds and she could see everything perfectly. Dream found herself tracing constellations with her fingers. She had learned them all from her dad when she had lived at home.

It was dark, maybe not stormy, but still dark. The kind of tenebrous night where someone might be murdered, or a teenager would sneak out. Silvestre was hoping the gods were in his favor and that murder could wait at least another turn of the earth. Considering the fact that the Hermes cabin was more crowded than most of the surrounding (and, not to mention, a lot messier which served a purpose to make it harder to walk in the night) buildings. A friendly guy his dad was, eh? Silvestre found it easy not to pay attention to his parentage, it wasn't as if he had any memorable powers. The son of Hermes slid his arms into a coat and tiptoed out of the cabin with the stealth of a professional thief. The night air was piercing, a breath of ice if you would. His biggest concern had been the waking of his siblings, although he doubted he was the only one of them out, not getting caught. There was no extensive punishment list he knew of, and Silvestre figured he would be able to get away with it. Several people were already making their way around the dark campus. One girl stood there, staring vacantly at the stars. He almost laughed; she looked ridiculous in her stargazing manor, but nonetheless some what cute.

Dream stopped staring at the stars and began looking around. Most of the kids she recognizd, or thought she recognized. She noticed a kid nearby and approached him. He seemed to be new to camp or something. She didnt think she had seen him anywhere before. "Hello?" She asked, walking up to him. She studied him, he was cute. She stuck out her hand, "Im Dream, daughter of Athena, I dont think we've met before."

As she turned towards him, he immediately glanced the other way. To his credit, she seemed not to have noticed. She paused—checking him out? – and then thrust her hand towards him in a gesture of greeting. "Im Dream, daughter of Athena, I dont think we've met before." Dream said and Silvestre looked at her with a hint of fondness. “Out late, are we?” he said, his face vacant of a smile but a playful tone lingered in his voice and posture as Silvestre looked at her. She had sized him up and now he did the same. Dream wasn’t bad looking. Daughter of Athena, she’d said. Silvestre shifted his weight and figured she was nice enough. But damn, those Aphrodite girls had it goin’ on. /shortf

"Out late, are we?" He asked her. Dream tried to think of a reply and noticed him studying her. She raised her eyebrows at him questioningly before replying, "I couldnt sleep. Now you get to tell me why your out late"Dream smiled at him before asking her next question. "And whats your name?" Dream wondered if he had already told her, she was tired enough that she could be confused but she was pretty sure he hadnt. She studied him once more, trying not to be obvious. She wondered if she could guess his parent. His looks got her no where so Dream decided she would wait for him to tell her.

“I couldn’t sleep. Now you get to tell me why you’re out late.” Dream said with a smile. Silvestre suddenly looked taken aback, his eyes wide in mock surprise as he looked at Dream. He dropped this expression quickly and replaced it with a friendly smirk. “And, what’s your name?” This Dream girl was getting inquisitive, but it was common gesture. Silvestre shrugged. “There’s no point in sleeping when you’re not tired,” He replied coolly. “I suspect your cabin isn’t quite as packed as mine, though. My name’s Silvestre.” Silvestre made no attempt to go out of his way to state his parentage as it wasn’t an interesting aspect of his demi-god life, yet it may be the only that mattered. Dream was looking at him closely… was she? The son of Hermes couldn’t tell but she seemed to be scrutinizing him. For all he knew, this was how she always was but somehow he doubted it.

Silvestre? Dream found her smile grow as he said his name. "Thats an awesome name." Dream said. She found a small blush creep into her cheeks. She wasnt really that great at talking to guys yet here she was telling him how awesome of a name he had. He said that her cabin wasnt as packed as his probably was. That almost gave the answer away. All the newcomers stayed in the Hermes cabin, so it was probably crowded. That was probably his cabin. She was going to ask him if she was correct but quickly decided against it.

He raised an eyebrow in a seemingly modest gesture. Dream was certainly a sweet individual as her cheeks were touched with color when she spoke. “Thanks,” Silvestre replied firmly but politely. A smile graced his lips for a second yet faded leaving an expression of contentment. The night was strangely pleasant. Crisp and cool. He was glad to see that the area wasn’t crowded with people sneaking out of their cabins. He wondered momentarily if she’d run into him in the daytime at some point. There were so many kids that it might be hard to single out someone. Silvestre appeared to realize something. “My father’s Hermes, my apologies for not mentioning it sooner.” He shifted his weight again as if slightly impatient. “Let’s walk.” He said, figuring it wouldn’t be too much of an overstep to suggest this. The waited nonetheless, standing unmoving as he waited for her response. Pushy people who tried to set people to their own agenda weren’t a type Silvestre liked and he tried to avoid being like this himself.

Dream gave a mental cheer as he said he was son of Hermes. Dream couldnt help but love being right. Being the daughter of a Goddess who was brilliant made you love doing stuff or guessing correctly. "Lets walk"
Dream thought he sounded rather impatient but she smiled anyways. "Sure, do yu want to head somewhere specific or just wander?" Dream asked. She frowned slightly, mostly to herself, wondering why he wanted to walk so bad. Was he going to hurt her? Dream gave herself a mental shake. Kids at Camp half-blood didnt tend to hurt other kids unless they were enemies.

Silvestre shrugged. He didn’t like to make specific plans or anything binding. Call him flighty, but he acted on impulse. “Wandering sounds fine; maybe see where the night takes us.” From another, this might have sounded romantic but from Silvv it sounded somewhat playful. For a moment Dream seemed to be worried but this expression disappeared before he could make a real comment on it. “Something up?” He added, and his voice faded as if to pretend he hadn’t spoken whatsoever.
