Praying to Hephaestus

Alex walked carefully into the temple. In his arms was a sword wrapped in cloth. Carefully, Alex into the middle of the room. when he was in the middle of the room, he unwrapped the sword. As it happens, Alex had made this sword himself. Alex had made it a long time ago back when he was 10 years old. He had remembered the night before he made the sword of when he manage to find a couple of different metals that his grandfather had for some of his metal work. Alex had pulled out the metals and he had be thinking of making a sword as he pulled out some of the metal before putting the metal back where it went to. Alex remember holding those metal feeling like as if he always knew metal in his hands.

Alex had just figure, because his grandfather worked with metal that made Alex feel like that till he had come here. It was not till the next day that he had made this sword he held in his hands. He remembered the next day of how it seem to come so naturally of making the sword even though Sword making was one thing his mother's family had never down. It puzzled his grandfather greatly of how Alex had made a sword, left alone one made so well and beautiful made. For one that doesn’t know of a sword was made, it looked like a normal sword. Alex knows his father would relate to the sword, for his father was the god of the forge. Alex held the sword in his hand with much trouble. “Hephaestus, please accepted my offering.”

the god of the forge was...well, in his forge. He was fulfilling a rather large order of arrows for the Hunters of Artemis. Suddenly, one of the frames on his wall glowed to life, showing a boy with fair hair walking into a temple and holding up a sword in offering. Hephaestus smiled. He summoned fire to bring up the sword to his forge. When it landed in his hands, he observed it quietly. It was beautifully crafted. It could have been made by Hephaestus himself. Alex had definitely inherited his father's gift.

With a flash of fire, Hephaestus appeared in front of his son. "Hullo, Alex."

Being in camp for the past week, taught Alex something. Always expect the unexpected. Counting when flames appeared around the sword and had disappeared from his hands. When Alex had be waiting for something to happen, he hoped his father would accepted his offering. Of which his father seem to have done. Alex figure that his father wanted to look at the sword before appearing before Alex, just to see look at the sword first. Within a minute, Fire had appeared in front of Alex. After a moment, his father stood in front of him. "Hello father." There was so many things he wanted to ask his father, mainly about his mother and how they had meet.
