Mathilde pulled up her hair into a high ponytail. From head to toe, the Hermes child looked ready for battle. She knew this wasn't a simple game of tag. Matt tended to be unusually competetive, but she decided to take this lightly. She boucned up beside her captain, Dream, with a semi-large smile on her face. She quickly turned away from Michael, who she realized was also on her team. Matt knew signing up for Captain would've been a good idea, but she didn't want to get too intense. Now, she realized that Dream, one of her closest friends and her head captain, had to deal with her ex, and she wanted to kill herself for not volunteering. Whatever, that was over. Matt remained somewhat quiet, stopping once or twice to readjust her knee and elbow pads, which she always tended to find helpful in case of a nasty trip. Otherwise, she had a light chest armor, that would deflect swords but wouldn't take the impact of a heavier, blunt object. She had a dagger in both of her belt loops, but a sword was grasped tightly in her palm. She thought for an instant that she should be the one attempting to steal the flag, but that would be up to the captains. But she had the knowledge of thievery, being a child of Hermes, and they had the option of making the right choice.

Leon was late for Capture the Flag. He had a problem with procuring his leather armour. Most people looked at him strangely that he favored the leather armour over the Bronze that most others wore. He wore leather gloves and bracers over his arms, sometimes it looked like he was robin hood. He loved mobility over sheer force. He shouldered his new enchanted Longbow and his two enchanted short swords at his side. Leon knew for a fact that he would only need the longbow. He was on the Apollo side this time. He was ready to fight. He would try to not kill any one but it still remained that he had the worlds worst case of blood lust that anyone had ever seen. Sometimes he wondered if his dad wasn't Aries. He smiled and offered up a small prayer to Hermes before heading off.
He jogged up to the rest of his teammates. Leon wasn't out of breath or anything but he hung back casually. "So what's the strategy this time?" he asked his half-sister Mathilde. So much for being an impressive Cabin leader this time. He had no idea how that happened. Leon saw Dream and gave her a wink. "Sorry I'm late, someone ganked my armour from the cabin." He said in a casual reply to his lateness.

Matt sealed her lips quietly as her brother joined the loose circle of teammates. She raised her eyebrows at his question, wondering for herself. She had been a little too absorbed in her own thoughts. She could pick up a few minimal things from the conversation. "I didn't get here much earlier than you," she whispered "But as far as I can tell, Michael and Dream are being pretty bitter. Exes, y'know? And Michael wants you to guard the flag with him.." She bit her lip. "I'd rather you and me went to go steal the flag. Hermes kids, they tend to be like fast and we're good at stealing stuff." She rolled her eyes, realizing her opinion probably wouldn't be recognized, and even if it was, it probably wouldn't be too deeply reguarded.

He nodded his sister and then stepped between Dream and the guy she was arguing with. "Look guys," He said rather loudly and obnoxiously. "Instead of arguing you need to work out a strategy. I for one will NOT be on defense. If your smart, you'll play your strengths and send out those of us who know how to NOT be noticed." Leon said with a snap of his voice. So the whole forest probably heard him, so what? Leon was trying to get his point across. "Me and her will scout ahead." Leon said jabbing his thumb over to his sister.
Leon then turned to Matt and said, "Look I'm going with you whether THEY LIKE IT OR NOT." He said raising his voice at the end. "Besides you're my sister and I'm not letting you go out without some good back up." Leon saluted her with his bow.

Dream felt her lip tremble when Leon yelled. "I'm fine with that" dream said. She didn't really want to guard the border but she wouldn't complains. Dream moved so her arm was barely touching matts, she felt better knowing her friend was next to her. She let out a sigh as she waited for michaels reply.

Processing the information that Leon just spilled, Michael quickly analysed it and formed a solid plan. "That is fine. But I still need Adrian and Spyro." He thought about it hard and finally made up his mind. "I will also need my brother Alex." He got serius and turned to Dream. He really didn't want to argue. "Look lets just work together now and after we can fight, fuss, and whatever angry exes do. As long as we agree and discuss our plans, with the whole team as well." He looked over his team trying to earn their trust. "I didn't mean to come off demanding, but in order to win we have to work together. I'm sorry." He said. He then began to formulate his plan. "I think that Dream, considering she's the team captin, should go ahead and get the flag. However she can't be alone. With the help of Leon and Matt she could preatty much get anywhere." He turned to Damian. "I know your mother is a war goddess so I think it's best for you to go with Dream and protect her. I'm not saying Matt and Leon couldn't but they are basicly for speed." He rubbed his temples. "Max I think it's better for you to patrol the borders with Ace, Vivienne, and Elizebeth. Use what ever you have. Weapons, magic, powers, anything. Alex, Myself, spyro will protect the flag at all costs while Adrian will still be near to the flag. If somehow the other team breaks our forces we can have Adrian run with it." He said laying it all out. "I almost forgot." He said looking at Alessandra. "I think Alessandra should come with me. I don't know how skilled she is with fire but she will learn tonight." He looked at his whole team. "Anyone against my plan? Anyone have anything to say or a better plan? I'm all ears." He then rememberd. "Where is everyone's suit at? You need those!"

Alessandra had arrived exactly on time to hear the plan. The more she heard of it the more she believed that they were going to win. Not that she didn't at first. It was when Michael mentioned the word fire that she got a little bit worried. It wasn't that she was afraid of fire exactly, it was just that she didn't really like fire that much. She could sit in front of a fireplace or a bonfire or something containing fire, but there was a little part of her brain that was a tad bit afraid of fire. But Alessandra knew she could over come her dislike of fire. She kind of had to. Of course she wasn't going to mention the fact that she didn't like fire, since she didn't want to let the team down. Alessandra had made up her mind that she was going to conquer her dislike for fire. "That sounds good. I'm surprised that you came up with that good of a plan in such a short time." She told Michael with a warm smile.

"That's fine with me. Dream if you stick close we can get there swiftly and silently. we'll need you to come up with something quick if we get caught." He said lightly with his blue eyes dancing with mischief. Sometimes leon hated to be rude, but some times it was called for. Leon never had a problem with making himself heard if he needed to be. He shouldered his bow over his leather armour. So it would be him, Dream, his sister, and a child of Aries. Brains, skill, speed, and Brawn all rolled into one team. It would be super hard to beat. "Besides we got this. I'm better then any Apollo kid with a bow. Matt you should take point with Dream and Damian and I will be up in the trees. I can get a better shot that way." Leon said. He had learned a cool skill last year from a long gone apollo camper about what he had called Treestriding. It took alot of practice and alot of ambrosia squares before he mastered it.

Damian had heard that Dream had been going out with a Hephaestus guy and that they'd broken up, and judging from his half-sister's reaction to Michael, he guessed that this was the boy. However, Damian wasn't close enough to Dream to really stand up for her, so he let her Hermes friend take her side... or whatever it was they were doing. The dark-haired son of Athena shifted his grip on his javelin slash spear and peered carefully at the tall son of Hermes. Leon, or something. He was loud, but he seemed to know what he was doing. Well, he thought he did. Damian figured they'd just have to trust him, since he thought that Leon was a team captain... or something, he didn't recall exactly. Michael and Dream, yes, but he couldn't remember the third one. It was impressive that a child of Hephaestus came up with the idea so quickly, though it was possible that he'd been thinking it over for a while.
Walking over to Dream's side, Damian gave her another quick nod-- as he had done earlier-- and looked around at their team. He was absolutely ready now, and he wanted to get the game going. In fact, he wanted to win and get that owl flag hung up. Being a bodyguard to his sister, the team captain, wasn't too much of a bad idea. Looking around, it seemed that he was the most heavily armored, for some odd reason. Well, Michael seemed well-armed, too, but everyone else seemed to be going for speed. Two Hermes children and two children of Athena. Damian knew not to get over confident, but it seemed like a winning combination for a thievery in the middle of battle.

confidently, max strode into the woods, wearing the clothes she usually wore. Torn blue jeans, pale green namebrand T-shirt, a long silver necklace, and a leather canteen at her belt. She didn't need much to fight. Her green eyes narrowed. She could annihilate everyone here. This game would easily be won by Athena. She walked up to the other two captains and waited for them to give her orders. She watched with some amusement as Dream and Michael fought like exes would. She rolled her eyes when she was given orders. "Whatev," she said breezily. "You can count on me and Ace. I dunno about the others, though," she smirked.
With a flick of her thumb, Max loosened the top of her canteen. A fluid movement of her hands and seawater flowed out. In an instant, she shaped the water into a razor-sharp, salty broadsword. "This is more like it," said Max in satisfaction.

Dream had to admit that Michael had a good plan but then she ound herself turn red when he asked where their suits were. "No offense, Michael, but did you really expect me to wear mine?" she asked with a shrug. She saw the nod Damian gave her and she quickly nodded back. This seemed like an unbeatable team.

Spyro decided to show off to Michael, not caring that his Ex was standing right there. "Im wearing the armor!" Spyro said with a giggle. She was wearing it but she had turned into a cute little dress with vines wrapped around it. She had decided that if she was going to wear armor she was going to look fashionable.

Ace was in his cabin lounging in his bed not really feeling good. After him and Eli stopped talking to one another He stoped feeling good period. He felt lonly and unwanted like an outgrown toy from a child. He hated feeling alone. He hated being alive at the moment. He hated himself for screwing up. He hated himself for falling in love with an Aphrodite kid. He couldn't help but scream in fustration. He wasn't particuraly mad at Eli he was mad at his mother for making him so shallow. "Why?" Was all he could say. He experienced a longing worse then the one he experienced when he lost his mother. His heart throbbed and ached for Eli. He wanted cry but it was no use he would proboably flood his cabin.
He looked out his window. Those long torch thingys were being put everywhere making everything look a little firey. It wasn't dark yet but in about two or three hours it would. He was going to lay back down and hoepfully fall asleep when he remembered it was capture the flag night. He stood up and pulled on a pair of old jeans and a button up flannel. He remembered he might have to fight so he put on some shin gaurds and under his shirt he put a breast plate on. He really didn't need anything but if he did, it was back up. He yawned and stretched his arms high. He was about to leave the door he remembered to grab his water and his suit michael gave him. He had a small puch he put around his waist and it coverd his whole back. It contained about a gallon of water if he needed it. Even though there was snow and water all around him.
Now that he was ready he walked over to the door and pushed it open. Jack frost's chill rushed into the small cabin room and bit at his nose. It was chilly out today but he knew as soon as he got worked up it wasn't going to be as cold. He wrapped his arms around himself and shiverd a little. He walked towards the woods where his team would meet. When he arrived quite the group was there. He noticed only some people were dressed in Michaels outfit. "If I would have known everyone wasn't wearing it I wouldn't have." He said. Then he noticed Michael and Dream arguing. It was stupid. Those to kids doesn't know what love is and are arguing like a married couple. Please. Then when he was about to walk away Max decided to actually show up. He made his way over to her. Just when he was about to ask her a questian Michael gave them a pep talk. He told everyone where they would go and what they would do. He was going to work with Max regardless. He was her older figure and he understood her. He needed to protect her under any circumstance. He didn't want to lose anyone else.
He saw Max acting the same as usual. Cocky, stubborn, Maxish. He shook his head. He needed to keep her safe. "Hey Max can you stop that." He was expecting her to backfire and complain but he gave her a seriouse look. He wasn't in the best of moods. He knew she's probably go balistic or something but she'd probably know not to becasue He was way stronger then her, giving that he was older , and it was fueld by his anger. "Just try to stop being cocky during this. For me please?"

"I like your strategy," said Piper. Though personally, she thought he should wear a shirt in case of a fight. "As for the small teams, get together with who you work best with." She liked the idea of small teams, because of the advantage. "The other Apollo kids should all make sure they have their arrows with them, wherever they're supposed to be, in case of an attack."

Michael smiled. He was happy most of the people were agreeing with his plan and basicly chose his over anyone elses. He was glad that he would work along his newfound brother and he was super happy that he and dream could resolve their issues for one night enstead of fighting all the time. "No offense, Michael, but did you really expect me to wear mine?" He heard Dream say when he turned his back. He shook his head no. "Honestly, no. Thats why I made back ups for all of those who didn't." He said grinning. Michael was a excelent thinker and planner. He was one of the most talented kids of Hephestas and he hoped to die a demigod as well he was born. Meaning he wants to teach the rest of his siblings as he got older rather moving into the world and living a normal boring life the rest of the humans lived. He didn't really plan on having kids but you may never know.
He digged in his pocket and pulled out little tiny boxes. Being an Hephastus kid he could possibly create anything he wanted, even though it took him a week to complete all the suits then the back up ones. He gave one to Dream and set the rest of them on a table. Spyro walked over to him smiling like a cyote. "Im wearing the armor!" She said giggly. This girl always seemed to be in the best of moods despite the situation. Michael smiled and thanked her for at least considering to wear the real armor becasue he could see that she completely tricked it out to meet her standards. "It's really preatty, but I hope you didn't tinker with any of the wires or the suit might barely or not even work." He said curiosly. The worst thing could happen if someones suit didn't work. The whole mission could be flushed right down the ever long drain of ideas.
He was begining to get prepared. Making sure he had all his basic weapons when Alessandra came over to him and said: "That sounds good. I'm surprised that you came up with that good of a plan in such a short time?" He thought about that. How could he? It was most likey just run through his veins. Or it could be he was blessed with it as a child. "I really don't know. I've always been a quick decider and most of the ideas that branch out are very intelegent, brilliant at that." He said. Then he remembered Alessandra's powers. "Well like I said, I don't know how skilled you are with fire. However what I do know by the end of tonight you'll learn how to sustain a simple flame." He then snapped his fingers together. A small flame ignited in the palm of his extreme caloused hands. The flame flickered a little as a breze sweapted across the trees. "Just so you know. Hestia children can not, I reapeat create a flame or make fire as the children of Hephy can but you can sustain and control it once it's been burned to life." He said looking into her eyes. "Now the basics. When I'm done telling you this technique I want you to try and do it. Well to shape it and control it you let your heart decide. What I do is act like I'm building something. I picture it in my head and it is there. Now I knew a brother who said what he did was imagine his aura, the unseen force that radiates off a person which is usually their favorite color depends, balancing it in his hands. He imagined it as bottle so to say containing it. I never tried this but it was very affective." He tried to stop babling. So you either try to do my way, which is kind of dificult or you imaginne a force shaped however around the fire. Now let you be warned. Do not let the flame get to big. In other words don't make your aura bottle to large or you might cause a huge fire." He looked back at his hand. "Now all I want you to do is imagine your aura bottle surround the flame and hold it in your palm. Oh and your job is to allow me and Alex the ability to tak some of it so that we could burn the enemies. You might get a chance to do that if one of us gets tired.''
