Piper nodded her head at that. She had guessed that Hephaestus kids would be able to do things related to metalworking. "Yeah. I don't know if this is just me, but my main interests are music, archery, & sun." Are our interests always related to our powers? Maybe, she thought.

Alex looked over at Piper, When Piper brought up about the music part, he figure she is a child of Apollo and with her telling him of what her interests just made it plain that she is a child of Apollo. "Well, just form what I know. the main interest of the half bloods of certain gods are the things they are good at, like with doing metalwork, and sculpting. My mother's family were all good in different areas of art and metal work. A good amount of my interests comes from my father and my mother's family."

"I never really thought of it that way. I love archery, & i always got A's in music class. I just take what i'm good at & go with it." Piper had never thought things that way before. "I like music, it's just fun. You can learn to use instruments & sing."

Alex nodded when Piper said that. Even if his family don't have that long line of artist, metal workers and car makers, Alex is sure he will still hold his interests. "Well there are reasons why gods love the mortals they love. Usually what your mortal parent finds appealing is what your god usually finds appealing. I know my mother loved blacksmith stuff and making things form metal. My father is the god of Forge."

"That's cool. I know my mom loves music." Piper missed playing guitar every day. "I used to dance to the radio. Mom always said i needed practice. I always laughed when she said that." Piper was amazed at how fun things could be. Winter holidays means Christmas, thought Piper. She had no idea why she was thinking that.

"Yeah, when it comes to certain things like that makes sense. Btu with some of them, I am not sure what they look for when they have their kids from mortals. Than again, I am still new to Camp. I don't know everything about this camp yet."

"I know. This is all so new & confusing. I wish it was easier, but that's impossible." Piper had always wished her life ahd been easier, but she knew that wasn't possible. So confusing is right, why isn't it easier? Why is that impossible? she thought. "Life is never easy. It's the challenges we overcome that help us learn who we really are."

"Being a halfblood is a hard life, just judging from the past few days. even for a mortal life is not easy." Alex nodded what Piper said next. For it was true that the challenges that peopel overcome learn who you are.

"If that's not true, i'm a can of sardines" said Piper. She laughed at her remark. "I love adventures. For a week of camping in Canada, pack me a bag with essentials & i explore for the whole trip. Experience. Not the most, but i could survive with a fire & a bag of fruit & veggies. I like animals...eating them just seems downright wrong."
