Pais tucked her sweatshirt around her and her camp half blood tee very tightly, cold from the falling flakes. People around her were wearing far less than she was. Poor kids, she thought sympathetically. Gaining no reaction from the boy she was sitting next to, she rose and went to sit at the edge of the circle. A few moments after, she realized that someone she knew similarly was also very near to her. "Oh," she said quietly, realizing the boy was Alek "Hello"

Piper had never been to a campfire before. She smiled. She wanted to hear camp announcements. She walked over to the edge of the fire, where nobody was standing. She was usually social, but she decided she didn't feel like being social that night.

"I am new here. I just be here for a few days, about three or four days at the most. I am a son of Hephaestus. How long have you be here and who is your god parent?" Alex merely smiled when he said that. Without thinking he had looked up. When he had come over to the campfire, he had notice the dercations. But he hadn't notice the mistletoe taht was above him and right between him and Britt.

Charlotte had been staring into the fire, hoping for some more warmth. She hadn't brought a coat since she didn't think it was going to be this cold. She was incredibly sensitive to the cold and she always has been. She use to get colds so easily during the winter that her mother wouldn't even let her step outside unless Charlotte was wearing tons of jackets. You could tell winter was one of the seasons that the girl hated the most. There were many reasons why she hated winter and she could name them all, but it would take the girl to long to list them all. Sometimes she thought the only good thing that came out of winter was Christmas.
It was when Elijah's voice that made her look away from the fire. Charlotte wanted to laugh at what he said, but she didn't. Instead she smiled and said, "Even the things I say when I'm in an awkward situation are better than what you just said." Soon she started shivering and she wanted to kick herself for forgetting to bring a jacket. She hoped that somehow it was going to magically become warmer - or at least warm enough that she didn't need to wear a jacket. Charlotte hoped no one noticed that she was shivering.

Elijah clutched his chest making an "ooh" sound. His face turned and twisted into fake pain as if Charlotte had physically taken a punch to his ego. "Wow, that hurts. I guess I need to brush up on my social skills. No way could I be ask awkward and Queen awkward herself!"
Eli chuckled and poked Charlotte's forehead hoping she would take his teasing okay. That's what they did though. They always teased each other over everything, but they both knew that they would take a bullet for each other. She was like a sister to him after all...
The two demigods were sitting close enough to each other that Eli could feel Charlotte shiver. One of Eli's favorite things to do was to dress nicely and he took advantage of the cold weather to wear his new pants, jacket, and scarf. He glanced to his side noticing that Charlotte was shivering so much people across the world could probably have seen. Eli smiled to himself. There was no way he would not take advantage of this situation. His mother, Aphrodite, would probably have smacked him if he had not. "Here." Eli opened up his jacket enough for Charlotte's small frame to fit inside. He wasn't sure if she would accept, but he had plenty of plans to set up a romantic scene. Even though Charlotte was like a sister to him...

"Hephaestus?" Britt echoed, looking him over. He did look a little strong to be in many of the other cabins. She had been thinking more along the lines of Ares, but she was interested into how he took after his father. "You smart or something?" she asked jokingly. After hearing his question more clearly, she raised her eyebrows. "I've been here two years. It doesn't suck as much as it does your first week, I promise," She stated kindly, with good intentions. "And my parent's Aphrodite," she said quietly, hoping it wasn't too obvious. She saw his eyes drip upwards, and she exhaled. Mistletoe, probably. It was a shame. She didn't want to kiss him. he seemed to nice, and she didn't want to ruin a potential friend with a little mistletoe. words// 132 , muse// no hands - waka flocka flame <3 , outfit // (coming soon!)

Charlotte let out a laugh when Elijah made a face. If only she had the acting skills he had she would have made her older brother feel sorry for her when he yelled at her. "You're just saying that because you're jealous of my social skills. She said jokingly. Elijah was right about her being awkward, but she wasn't the queen of awkward. That was like saying dogs are better than cats, and anyone who had a brain inside their head knows that it is so not true. Well at least it wasn't true in Charlotte's opinion.
It seemed to get colder and colder in the girl's opinion. If I don't go inside or get a jacket soon I swear I am going to die from hypothermia She thought to herself, shaking her head softly. Charlotte had a tendency to exaggerate things when she was annoyed at herself or someone else. Right now, the girl really wanted to kick herself. Only she would be so forgetful to not bring a jacket or sweater when it was so cold outside. If her mother saw her right now, she would be yelling at Charlotte and then worrying about her. When Elijah offered her his jacket, she hesitated. The back of her brain was yelling at her to say no, but the other part was telling her that her health was more important. Charlotte's mother would agree with what the back of her brain was saying, but she ignored them. Her health was so much more important than what her mother would be thinking if she saw her. "Thanks." she said gratefully.

Since the last campfire he atended too, Ace has been doing fine. But when he arived at the fire he immediatley saw Sarah's dark figure. He remembered the last time she had unleashed hell on him and he almost didn't survive her attack until she said sorry and passed out. However this time he was alert and ready for anything since he trained and excersized his new powers.

Alex nodded when Britt echoed the name of his parent. Alex wasn't sure what cabin she thought he was in, he figure because he looks strong or even something else, that may have narrowed of which cabin he was in. Alex didn't comment to Britt's question. Honestly he wasn't sure of how he should react to that. Than Britt told him that she had be at the camp for two years and she was a daughter of Aphrodite. Alex thought that may have be one of the cabins that Britt was in, the other he assumed was Apollo. Alex wasn't sure if Britt had notice the mistletoe above them and honestly eh didn't want to kiss her. Mainly because he hoped that she may be a new friend. He didn't want to destroy that before it had even begin.

Britt could admit she wasn't the strongest when it came to starting a conversation. Sure, she could piece together simple strings of words that started friendships, but she found herself at a loss for speech that evening. She wasnted to say something normal, like 'Do you like it here?' or 'Made any friends?.' It was one of the first times she had ever felt like a blundering idiot. "Nice night, right?" she said, trying to distract herself from the forsaken possibility of a mistletoe above them.

Alex looked up at the sky when Britt brought up that it was a nice night. With the snow falling and everything, he had to agree that it was a nice night out. But the thing is that he still wasn’t; sure if he should kiss Britt or not because of the mistletoe between them. It would seem rather weird. "Yeah it's a nice night." He still couldn’t but help but look back at the mistletoe.

"Snowing and everything," she said, trying to encourage a little more smalltalk. If that was, in fact, a bit of mistletoe above them, she should try to put it's effects off. She didn't want to kiss someone she hadn't spoken more than a few sentences to. She told herself not to look up and continued to smile at her new friend. She would cross that bridge when she came to it. When it was the last thing to talk about, maybe?

Alex nodded when Britt said that. He did get snow back in England. But England gets more rain than snow though. When he had come to America and it snowed more than it rain, it seem strange to him. Mainly because he was used to more rain than snow. It still was strange to him. "Back in England, We got more rain than snow."

Britt smiled. "England,eh?" Now that he mentioned it, he did have hints of an accent in his voice. Britt didn't know why she hadn't realized it before. "Do you get thunder there, too? Right?" Britt was aways interested in thunder. It was oddly appealing to her, consdiering it frightened some people. It was just so exhilerating. >< , muse// no hands - waka flocka flame <3 , outfit // (coming soon!)

Alex nodded when she ask if he was from England, London to be more accurate. Sometimes we do get thunder. We do get lighting as well. Some days when it's blue skies, all the sudden it will rain without warning and than a couple of hours later, it will be blue skies. I sort of miss that since I come to America."
